This International Vintage gown by designer Luis-Mari of France, worn by Carmel Kambouris was photographed in her home in 1973. It will be paraded for sale and donated to Children’s Cancer Institute Australia.
This parade showcases a unique, and stunning range of garments from the seventies. These vintage International designer garments herald from the leading fashion houses of Europe.
My entire international Vintage wardrobe will be paraded and presented for sale. Brand new vintage garments from Mary Lipshut of ML Vintage, Melbourne, will also feature and, likewise, many of these special designer items will be available for sale after the parade. Thus this is certainly a marvellous opportunity to purchase a garment designed by a leading International designer.
The MLVintage Collection is recognised as unique not only for its diversity, but also, most significantly, because each garment from the seventies and eighties, is BRAND NEW and created by designers like:
– Andre Courreges
– Missoni
– Gianni Versace
– Valentino Sport
– Emilio Pucci
– Kritzia
– Complice, Callaghan and Genny by Versace
– Roberta di Camerino
Proceeds from this event will be donated to Children’s Cancer Institute Australia. My prayer is that this event will awaken the Spirit of Giving required for healing these children, now!
Mark in your calendar, Sunday, November 15, 2009. This will be a day of celebration, returning to the iconic fashion of the seventies. As we look back in time, we will see how much the seventies era has influenced our current fashion trends.
Open your heart by reaching out and bringing a friend!
Blessings to all,
Carmel
